First things first! Mock up some campaign text over glossy all-American sweethearts like Dick, Jane, or Insert Cream Puff Here. Campaign text like: “If you buy a hamburger in New Jersey, it will suck. So come to Brooklyn and eat at Sandra’s. Nom nom nom!” That’s the weak version, but I can rewrite it. Typeface is wayyy more important than text.
Five minutes at the keyboard, ten more with the mouse and the Wacom, scribble scribble snip, done. I am not losing it. I am totally in control. What I need, I think, is a vacation.
Rude title. Finished earlier in the evening (1:45am), but not early enough; I have a long haul ahead of me what with the 9am rehearsal tomorrow.
This has been really fun so far. I have enjoyed looking at everyone else’s entries.
Still, really fun.
35.5 x 51 cm
Fat little sucker-ball!
Third in this larger size.
Missed a day! I guess I’ll have to post twice in one day sometime this week.
I’ve been late to post my entries to the 30 days project site, however I have been uploading images to my blog every day. I’m also running a little behind due to an international trip from Australia to Canada.

We’re half-way through Thirty Days Project, June 2011!
By now you’ve found out much more about what it takes to create a finished piece every day. Real life can only be pushed aside for so long before it comes pushing right back. But perhaps you have found that some of the things that took away time from creative pursuits suddenly seem a little less urgent?
How have your first fifteen days been?
Have there been changes in your priorities? Your thought processes? Your art work? Your other work?
Could you see yourself doing this for more than thirty days in a row?
We would love to hear about your experiences so far with Thirty Days Project!
